The Bible, Eternally Inscribed on Blockchain

Our Story

In late 2025, God stopped me from what I was best at and led me down a different path.

For several years before, my profession was writing. It had nothing to do with coding or software development.

Was it because I majored in Computer Science? Or maybe it's my uncontrollable curiosity? Either way, AI, blockchain, dropshipping, and other business and programming topics always occupied a corner of my mind.

Then one day, I heard a story from a North Korean defector at church. "Do you know what a blessing it is to be able to read the Bible anytime, anywhere?" — the very quote featured in Words on Chain's introduction. The moment I heard those words, I suddenly remembered the censorship resistance and decentralization of cryptocurrencies and blockchain that I had invested quite a bit of time (and money) into.

Coincidentally, around the same time, as I mentioned, God made me stop my writing career. I won't say I wasn't worried about my livelihood. But during this time, God was adding faith I had never had before through various events. (I believe some of you reading this are nodding your heads. God often works with surprisingly delicate timing, doesn't He?)

I went from knowing nothing about smart contracts or even building a website to somehow ending up here. Learning Solidity from YouTube, wrestling with AI to build web pages, designing various architectures for optimization, and then asking AI again to teach me how the results work.

Currently, the Words on Chain project is funded by the developer's own pocket. I was surprised by how many costs there are here and there. Servers, domains, maintenance, transaction fees...
