The Bible, Eternally Inscribed on Blockchain

The Word,Eternal

The complete Bible, inscribed on blockchain networks worldwide.

Preserved forever. Accessible to all. Censorship-resistant.

November 4, 2025

The Bible (KJV) has been permanently inscribed on the Base mainnet.

'Words on Chain' is a project dedicated to recording the Bible on every major blockchain possible—making it immutable, uncensorable, and accessible to all.

Why?

"You are truly blessed to be able to read the Bible whenever, wherever you want. In North Korea, you'd have to risk your life and your family's life to even read it."

— A Christian defector from North Korea

In the 21st century, religious freedom feels natural in the West, yet much of the world lives without it. During the Cold War, half of the world's population was cut off from the Bible.

This project prepares for "those days"—when possessing a paper Bible becomes a crime, when apps are purged, and websites are taken down.

How?

Though not immediately visible, blockchain is penetrating the global financial system. From e-commerce payment gateways to cryptocurrency ETFs and tokenized U.S. stocks, a significant portion of global finance is already integrated into the blockchain—a trend that will only accelerate.
Blockchain possesses a critical feature: past records are immutable. Altering or deleting them is virtually impossible. To erase a specific piece of data, one would have to wipe out every single record created after that point. Furthermore, on decentralized networks like Bitcoin or Ethereum, you would need to hack and simultaneously control nearly every computer on Earth.
Words on Chain leverages this censorship resistance. We are inscribing every verse of the Bible onto major, widely-adopted cryptocurrency blockchains.
Even if (though we pray this never happens) an oppressive government rises to censor the Bible, and even if (impossible as it is) they seize control of every computer on Earth, erasing the Bible from the blockchain would require them to destroy every financial record accumulated from this moment until then—every online payment, stock trade, and wire transfer. The entire financial system would collapse. No government would dare take that risk.
Of course, relying on a single blockchain is not enough. The Word of God is so powerful that a regime might sacrifice a "portion" of its economy to suppress it. Therefore, our goal is to inscribe the Bible on every major blockchain possible—Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and beyond. We aim to ensure the Bible is etched into every corner of the global financial infrastructure.

How It Works

1

Inscription

We Deploy smart contracts on the blockchain and transmit transactions that record each verse—categorized by book, chapter, and verse—into on-chain log data for permanent preservation.

2

Access

Our system retrieves the bible data from the blockchain based on smart contracts, recorded blocks, and categorized metadata tags.

3

Service

Words on Chain app and web interface utilize both server-side storage and multi-chain redundancy to back up the Bible. We provide a comprehensive suite of tools, including a user-friendly viewer, search functionality, and download options.
