Though not immediately visible, blockchain is penetrating the global financial system. From e-commerce payment gateways to cryptocurrency ETFs and tokenized U.S. stocks, a significant portion of global finance is already integrated into the blockchain—a trend that will only accelerate.
Blockchain possesses a critical feature: past records are immutable. Altering or deleting them is virtually impossible. To erase a specific piece of data, one would have to wipe out every single record created after that point. Furthermore, on decentralized networks like Bitcoin or Ethereum, you would need to hack and simultaneously control nearly every computer on Earth.
Words on Chain leverages this censorship resistance. We are inscribing every verse of the Bible onto major, widely-adopted cryptocurrency blockchains.
Even if (though we pray this never happens) an oppressive government rises to censor the Bible, and even if (impossible as it is) they seize control of every computer on Earth, erasing the Bible from the blockchain would require them to destroy every financial record accumulated from this moment until then—every online payment, stock trade, and wire transfer. The entire financial system would collapse. No government would dare take that risk.
Of course, relying on a single blockchain is not enough. The Word of God is so powerful that a regime might sacrifice a "portion" of its economy to suppress it. Therefore, our goal is to inscribe the Bible on every major blockchain possible—Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and beyond. We aim to ensure the Bible is etched into every corner of the global financial infrastructure.
